۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
