Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the morning hours 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
