We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place, and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them, that they fell into schisms. Verily Allah will judge between them as to the schisms amongst them, on the Day of Judgment. 93 But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers. 94 And you should not be of those who reject the communications of Allah, (for) then you should be one of the losers. 95 Verily those on whom the word of thy Lord hath been justified shall not believe. 96 Though every sign should come to them, until they witness the painful chastisement. 97 Why was there not a single township (among those We warned), which believed,- so its faith should have profited it,- except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the penalty of ignominy in the life of the present, and permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 98 Had your Lord willed, whosoever is in the earth, all would have believed. Would you then constrain people until they believe? 99 It is not for any soul to believe save by the leave of God; and He lays abomination upon those who have no understanding. 100 Say, "Observe what is in the heavens and earth." But of no avail will be signs or warners to a people who do not believe 101 What are they waiting for except to witness the repetition of the days of calamity that their predecessors witnessed? Tell them: 'Wait; I too am waiting with you. 102 Then We will save our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers 103
