The present life is nothing but sport and amusement. The true life is in the Abode of the Hereafter; if only they knew. 64 So when they ride in the ships they call upon Allah, being sincerely obedient to Him, but when He brings them safe to the land, lo! they associate others (with Him); 65 and thus they show utter ingratitude for all that We have vouchsafed them, and go on [thoughtlessly] enjoying their worldly life. 66 Have they not seen that We have appointed a sanctuary immune (from violence), while mankind are ravaged all around them? Do they then believe in falsehood and disbelieve in the bounty of Allah? 67 And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or cries lies to the truth when it comes to him? What, is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 68 We shall guide those who strive in Our cause to the paths leading straight to Us. Surely God is with those who do good. 69
