The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 Lord of the Day of Judgement. 4 (Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance 5 Keep us on the right path. 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
