The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to the stinters; 1 Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, 2 but who, when they measure or weigh for others, give less than their due. 3 Do they not realise that they will be raised to life 4 On a grievous day, 5 when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 No indeed! Verily the deeds of the wicked are in the Record locked up in the prison-house! 7 And what will make thee know whatsoever the record in Sijjin is? 8 A written record. 9 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 10 who cry lies to the Day of Doom; 11 And none deny it except every sinful transgressor. 12 [and so,] whenever Our messages are conveyed to them, they but say: "Fables of ancient times!" 13 Nay! But on their hearts is the Ran (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn. 14 Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord. 15 Then indeed they have to enter hell. 16 Then it will be said: 'this is that which ye were wont to belie.' 17 By no means! Verily the record of the virtuous shall be in 'Illiyun. 18 And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun? 19 It is a written book, 20 Those who are drawn near (to Allah) shall witness it. 21 Verily the pious will be in heaven, 22 (reclining) upon couches they will gaze, 23 thou knowest in their faces the radiancy of bliss 24 They will be given a drink of pure wine, sealed, 25 The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations: 26 Blended with the water of Tasnim, (heights ultimate of evolution), 27 a fountain at which do drink those brought nigh. 28 The sinners laughed at the believers 29 when they passed by them, they would wink at one another; 30 and when they returned to their people they returned blithely, 31 and when they saw the believers, they said: “Lo! These are the erring ones”; 32 No one has appointed them to watch over the believers. 33 So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers, 34 On high couches, gazing. 35 Have the unbelievers been duly rewarded for their deeds? 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
