The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 like water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59
