Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 and the severally severing 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a known extent. 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
