The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
