Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
