O believers, devour not usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear you God; haply so you will prosper. 130 And fear the Fire, which is prepared for the disbelievers. 131 and obey God and the Messenger; haply so you will find mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with one another to attain to your Sustainer's forgiveness and to a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, which has been readied for the God-conscious 133 Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good; 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 (As for) these-- their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and excellent is the reward of the laborers. 136 There have been many dispensations before you; so travel in the land and see what befell those who denied the truth. 137 This is a declaration for mankind, a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil) 138 So do not lose heart or be grieved, for you will surely prevail if you are believers. 139 If a wound should touch you - there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that Allah may make evident those who believe and [may] take to Himself from among you martyrs - and Allah does not like the wrongdoers - 140 test the faith of the believers, and deprive the unbelievers of (His) blessings. 141 Do you think that you will enter the garden while Allah has not yet known those who strive hard from among you, and (He has not) known the patient. 142 You previously longed for death (in the way of Allah): now you have faced it, observing it with your own eyes. 143
