And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 When they had journeyed further on, Moses said to his servant: "Bring us our repast. We are surely fatigued by today's journey." 62 His companion replied, "Do you remember the rock on which we took rest? Satan made me forget to mention to you the story of the fish and how it miraculously made its way into the sea. 63 Moses said, "That is just what we were looking for." So they went back the way they had come, 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He said: Surely you cannot have patience with me 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70
