The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
