I swear by all that you can see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
