To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear? 100 These towns-- We relate to you some of their stories, and certainly their apostles came to them with clear arguments, but they would not believe in what they rejected at first; thus does Allah set a seal over the hearts of the unbelievers 101 We did not find many among them keeping their promises. However, We did find many evil-doers among them. 102 Then We sent after them Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were unjust toward them. So see how was the end of the corrupters. 103 Moses said: 'Pharaoh, I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds, 104 duty-bound to say nothing about God but the truth, and I have brought you a clear sign from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with me." 105 Said Firaun, “If you have come with a sign, then present it if you are truthful!” 106 So Moses threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent, manifest. 107 and he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 108
