۞ And if each unjust soul owned everything that is in the earth, it would have certainly given it in order to redeem itself; and they secretly felt repentant when they saw the punishment; and it has been judged between them with fairness and they will not be wronged. 54 For all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to God. Remember, the promise of God is true. But most of them do not know. 55 It is He who gives life and causes death, and to Him you shall be returned. 56 O men! there has come to you indeed an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in the breasts and a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 57 Say, "In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy - in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate." 58 Say: "Have you ever considered all the means of sustenance which God has bestowed upon you from on high - and which you thereupon divide into 'things forbidden' and 'things lawful? Say: "Has God given you leave [to do this] - or do you, perchance, attribute your own guesswork to God?" 59 What will they think, those who invent falsehoods about God, on the Day of Resurrection? God is bountiful to men: yet most of them are not grateful. 60
