On the day when We shall call all men with their record, and whoso is given his book in his right hand -- those shall read their book, and they shall not be wronged a single date-thread. 71 And whoever is blind in this [life] will be blind in the Hereafter and more astray in way. 72 And surely they had purposed to turn you away from that which We have revealed to you, that you should forge against Us other than that, and then they would certainly have taken you for a friend. 73 And had We not made thee firm [in faith,] thou might have inclined to them a little 74 Had you done so, We would certainly have made you face double punishment in this life and after your death and you would have found none to help you. 75 Indeed they came near to unsettling you, so that they might expel you from the land, but in that case they themselves would not have stayed on for very long after you. 76 This has been Our way with the apostles whom We sent before you. You will not find any variation in Our line of action. 77
