The Town (Al-Balad)
20 verses, revealed in Mecca after Q (Qaaf) before The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by this city (Makkah); 1 And thou shalt be allowed in yonder city 2 And by the giver of birth, and whom he fathered, 3 Verily We have created man into toil and hardship. 4 Thinks he that none can overcome him? 5 He says, “I destroyed vast wealth.” 6 Does he believe that none has seen him? 7 Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?- 8 One tongue, and two lips, 9 and guided him on the two highways? 10 Yet he has not scaled the height. 11 and what shall teach thee what is the steep? 12 It is the setting free of a slave 13 Or the giving of food in a day of privation 14 of an orphaned relative 15 Or to the indigent (down) in the dust. 16 And to be of those who believe, and urge upon one another to persevere, and urge upon each other to be kind. 17 Those are the companions of the right. 18 But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left. 19 with the Fire closed above them. 20
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
