Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
