Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So when you are free, nominate. 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
