۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 and that hour you are watching 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
