And indeed We sent Moses with Our signs and with a clear authority 96 Towards Firaun and his court members, thereupon they followed the commands of Firaun; and the work of Firaun was not proper. 97 He shall be at the head of his people on the Day of Resurrection, and drive them into Hell like cattle driven to water -- what an evil watering-place to reach! 98 seeing that they were pursued by [God's] rejection in this [world,] and [shall be finally overtaken by it] on the Day of Resurrection; [and] vile was the gift which they were given! 99 That is (something) of the tidings of the townships (which were destroyed of old). We relate it unto thee (Muhammad). Some of them are standing and some (already) reaped. 100 We did not wrong them; they wronged themselves; the deities they called on besides God availed them nothing: when God's command came upon them, they only added to their ruin. 101 And similar is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the townships upon their injustice; indeed His seizure is painful, severe. 102 Verily herein is a sign unto him who feareth the torment of the Hereafter. That is a Day whereon mankind shall be gathered together, and that is a Day to be witnessed. 103 And We do not postpone it except for a fixed term. 104 When that Day comes, not a soul will speak, unless it be by His leave; and of those [that are gathered together,] some will be wretched and some, happy. 105 As for those who shall be wretched, they shall be in the Fire, wherein for them shall be panting and roaring. 106 so long as the heavens and earth abide, save as thy Lord will; surely thy Lord accomplishes what He desires. 107 ۞ And those who are blessed, they will be in Paradise, abiding therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord will, a gift without an end. 108 So be not thou in dubitation concerning that which these people worship. They worship not save as their fathers worshipped afore; and verily We will repay unto them in full their portion, undiminished. 109
