Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
