Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 And I call the reprehensive soul to witness: 2 What, does the human think We shall never gather his bones? 3 Yea! WE are Able to put together evenly his finger-tips. 4 None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him, 5 He asks: "When will be this Day of Resurrection?" 6 When, then, the sight shall be confounded. 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 And the sun and the moon shall be joined. 9 on that Day will man exclaim "Whither to flee?" 10 By no means! No place of safety! 11 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord. 12 Upon that day man shall be told his former deeds and his latter; 13 In fact man is a witness against himself, 14 Although he tender his excuses. 15 [Prophet], do not move your tongue too fast in your attempt to learn this revelation: 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 So, when We recite it, follow thou its recitation. 18 Again on Us (devolves) the explaining of it. 19 No indeed; but you love the hasty world, 20 and leave be the Hereafter. 21 [Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant, 22 looking up to their Sustainer; 23 And on that day some faces will be ghastly. 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 And he bethinketh that it is the time of parting. 28 and when leg is intertwined with leg, 29 That Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord! 30
