The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of (mount) Tur. 1 And by the Book Inscribed. 2 on fine parchment; 3 The house ever-peopled, 4 By the roof elevated. 5 And the swollen sea, 6 Verily, the Torment of your Lord will surely come to pass, 7 Of it there is no preventer. 8 On the day when the heaven shall move from side to side 9 And the mountains will pass on, departing - 10 On that Day woe to those who belied 11 those who are in plunging, playing. 12 The day on which they shall be driven away to the fire of hell with violence. 13 “This is the Hell which you used to give the lie to.” 14 Is this magic? or ye still see not clearly! 15 Roast in it. Bear it with patience or impatience, it will be the same for you. You will be requited for what you had done." 16 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and Delight. 17 Enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire. 18 Eat and drink with relish for that which ye have been working. 19 Reclining upon couches ranged in rows; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris. 20 And as for those who have attained to faith and whose offspring will have followed them in faith, We shall unite them with their offspring; and We shall not let aught of their deeds go to waste: [but] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever he has earned. 21 And We shall increasingly give them fruit and meat such as they desire. 22 There they will pass a goblet to one another with neither idle talk nor sin, 23 ۞ They will be waited upon by immortal youths, like pearls hidden in their shells. 24 They will turn to one another ask questions, 25 "Before this, when we were among our families, we were full of fear of God's displeasure -- 26 God has been gracious to us and has saved us from the torment of Hell's intense heat -- 27 Lo! we used to pray unto Him of old. Lo! He is the Benign, the Merciful. 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
