Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
