The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
