The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
