Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
