The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A burning fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
