Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
