۞ God says: 'Take not to you two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me.' 51 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and religion is His for ever. Will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 And whatever blessings you have, are all from Allah – then whenever misfortune reaches you, towards Him only do you seek refuge. 53 When He removes your affliction then some of you set up associates to their Lord 54 that they may show ingratitude for what We gave them. So, take your pleasure, you shall soon know. 55 They even appoint a share of what We have provided for them [to false gods] they know nothing of. You shall surely be questioned about the lies you have been fabricating. 56 They ascribe daughters to Allah exaltations to Him! But they themselves would have what they desire! 57 And when a daughter is announced to one of them his face becomes black and he is full of wrath. 58 Because of the evil of the good news he hides himself from people, (pondering) whether he will keep her and be humiliated, or trample her into the dust. Evil is their judgement! 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter, for them only is the evil state; and the Majesty of Allah is Supreme; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 60
