And recite in the Book the account of Moses. He was a chosen one, a Messenger, a Prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the Mount, and We drew him near to Us by communing to him in secret, 52 and out of Our mercy We appointed his brother Aaron, a Prophet (that he may assist him). 53 And mention thou in the Book lsma'il; verily he was true in promise, and was apostle, prophet. 54 And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing. 55 Mention in the Book (the Quran) the story of Idris (Enoch); he was a truthful Prophet. 56 And We raised him to an exalted station. 57 These are whom Allah has blessed among the Prophets from among the seed of Adam and of those whom We bore with Noah; the descendants ofAbraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chose. For when the verses of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, 59 save him who repents, and believes, and does a righteous deed; those -- they shall enter Paradise, and they shall not be wronged anything; 60 The gardens of perpetuity which the Beneficent Allah has promised to His servants while unseen; surely His promise shall come to pass. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain word, but they shall hear only peace; and therein they shall have their provision morning and evening. 62 Such is the Garden which We cause the devout among Our bondmen to inherit. 63 AND [the angels say]: "We do not descend [with revelation,] again and again, other than by thy Sustainer's command: unto Him belongs all that lies open before us and all that is hidden from us and all that is in-between. And never does thy Sustainer forget [anything] 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between. Serve Him, then, and be constant in serving Him. Do you know anyone that might be His compeer?" 65
