1/4 Hizb 50
< random >
۞ When the son of Mary is mentioned as an example, your people turn away from it 57 and say: 'What, are our gods better, or is he?' They do not mention him to you except to dispute, truly, they are a contentious nation. 58 He is purely a bondman (of Ours), whom We have favoured upon, and We made him an extraordinary example for the Descendants of Israel. 59 And had We willed We could have appointed angels born of you in the earth to succeed each other. 60 He is a sign of the Hour. Have no doubt about it. But follow me. This is a straight path; 61 And let not Shaitan (Satan) hinder you (from the right religion, i.e. Islamic Monotheism), Verily, he (Satan) to you is a plain enemy. 62 NOW WHEN Jesus came [to his people] with all evidence of the truth, he said: "I have now come unto you with wisdom, and to make clear unto you some of that on which you are at variance: hence, be conscious of God, and pay heed unto me. 63 Assuredly God is my Lord and your Lord; therefore serve Him; this is a straight path.' 64 The various factions among them differed -- woe then to those who did wrong: they will suffer the punishment of a painful Day. 65 What are they waiting for except the Last Day, that it may suddenly come upon them while they are unaware? 66 The intimate friends on that Day will be hostile unto one another save the God-fearing. 67
