Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
