The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
