Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
