And mention in the Book, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet. 51 We called him from the right slope of the Mount, and brought him nigh in communion. 52 And We gave to him out of Our mercy his brother Haroun a prophet. 53 And mention thou in the Book lsma'il; verily he was true in promise, and was apostle, prophet. 54 He would order his people to worship God and pay the religious tax. His Lord was pleased with him. 55 And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. 56 And We raised him to a lofty station. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ And after them came the unworthy successors who squandered prayer and pursued their own desires, so they will soon encounter the forest of Gai in hell. 59 Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught. 60 [Therein are] gardens of perpetual residence which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen. Indeed, His promise has ever been coming. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 Such is the Garden which We shall cause those of Our bondmen to inherit who have been God-fearing. 63 [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - 64 "Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and of all that is between them; so worship Him, and be constant and patient in His worship: knowest thou of any who is worthy of the same Name as He?" 65
