3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
