Say (O Muhammad): Call upon those whom ye set up beside Allah! They possess not an atom's weight either in the heavens or in the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor hath He an auxiliary among them. 22 No intercession avails with Him except his He allows, so that when their hearts are freed of fear, they ask (one another): "What did your Lord say?" They will answer: "What is expedient. He is the all-mighty and supreme." 23 ۞ Proclaim, “Who provides you sustenance from the sky and the earth?” Proclaim, “Allah – and indeed either we or you are upon guidance, or in open error.” 24 Say to them, "You will not be called to account for our sins and we shall not be called to account for what you do." 25 Say: “Our Lord will bring us together and then He will rightly judge between us. He is the Great Judge, the All-Knowing.” 26 Say thou: show me those whom ye have joined with Him as associates. By no means! Aye! He is Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 27 We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not. 28 They ask you: “When will this promise (of Resurrection) be fulfilled, if what you say is true?” 29 Say (O Muhammad): Yours is the promise of a Day which ye cannot postpone nor hasten by an hour. 30
