Have you seen the one who turned away 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
