And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
