Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
