Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 And, his progeny, them We made the survivors (i.e. Shem, Ham and Japheth). 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 Then came the others to him hastening. 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allah), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Insha' Allah (if Allah will), you shall find me of As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)." 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
