۞ How many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after Allah has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him. 26 Behold, it is [only] such as do not [really] believe in the life to come that regard the angels as female beings; 27 although they have no knowledge regarding that. They only follow their conjecture and conjecture can never take the place of the Truth. 28 Wherefore withdraw thou from him who turneth away from Our admonition and seeketh not but the life of the world. 29 That is all they have of knowledge. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His Path, and those who are guided. 30 And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth - that He may recompense those who do evil with [the penalty of] what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best [reward] - 31 As for those who avoid the [truly] grave sins and shameful deeds - even though they may sometimes stumble behold, thy Sustainer is abounding in forgiveness. He is fully aware of you when He brings you into being out of dust, and when you are still hidden in your mothers' wombs: do not, then, consider yourselves pure - [for] He knows best as to who is conscious of Him. 32
