The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
