Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
