Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
