Have you seen the one who turned away 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
