۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 right before your very eyes? 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
